Work by McPherson Marketing Group on content begins after the submission and verification of all the onboarding documents. Most times, we begin within 24 business hours of the time the service is purchased but it can take longer depending on the onboarding submission. The initial work on the account will include topic selection and approval, composing the first piece(s) of content, and sending it over to you for approval.

Is the content produced by McPherson Marketing Group SEO optimized?

The McPherson Marketing Group content team considers SEO when writing content. Before publishing, our team makes sure SEO is incorporated into the post. If you are receiving SEO services along with content services, our SEO team will perform additional optimizations on the content pieces after they are approved and published.

How does content fulfillment with McPherson Marketing Group work? What can I expect? What types of content is produced?

Content fulfillment with McPherson Marketing Group works in a few easy steps:


1. Completion of the onboarding documents by the client

2. Our specialists will review the onboarding documents

3. Our team will send you a list of topics to be approved (typically, it will be around 20 topics and they will ask for your approval of 10 of those topics)

4. Once topics are selected, our team will be able to begin working on the blog posts

5. The blogs will be sent to you for approval as they are ready and you will either need to give it a thumbs up, resend the blog with corrections, or request that we make some revisions

6. Once we receive final approval, we will go ahead and post the blog on the site (if we have the proper website access)


Only one round of revisions will be allowed per blog article. If our team writes a blog article and either you or the client have changed their minds regarding the topic used to write the blog, we will not be able to rewrite it for another blog article.


Our content team only writes one type of content: blogs. We do not perform content expansions on websites, content alterations, service page content, location page content, etc. If the client is receiving SEO services, we may recommend adding content or creating pages with content, which would be the responsibility of you, the partner, or the client to complete if the intent is to complete the recommended actions.

Will content produced by McPherson Marketing Group be delivered at the same time?

If a client is receiving multiple blogs per month (2 or more), all the blogs will be delivered for review at the same time. This is due to our streamlined internal process. After the content is approved for posting, we do not have to schedule the blogs to be published at the same time. McPherson Marketing Group can schedule the blogs to be posted one week apart or at another time interval if requested.

How does topic selection work at McPherson Marketing Group?

The first time McPherson Marketing Group sends you content topics, you should have the option to select 10 of about 20 different topics. Once our content team is close to depleting all the topics, we will reach out to you again and ask for more.


Depending on the content marketing service and the amount of content you are receiving per month, we will determine how often we need to reach out to you to get more topics approved. The higher the tier and the more content that is written for you, the more frequently our team will need to reach out to you to get content topics approved.

If McPherson Marketing Group reaches out to you several times about topic selection and you are unresponsive, we will proceed to select topics on your behalf and write content based on those topics. These topics will be selected by our team based on feedback provided in the onboarding documents submitted and/or information we find on the client's website.

Please note that you can still provide us with approved topics whenever they are available. The blogs we write based on unapproved topics due to a lack of communication will be final (aside from slight modifications to the existing blog). You will not be able to have the blog swapped for another blog based on a different topic.

What happens when/if the content marketing service is cancelled?

When services for content marketing are cancelled with McPherson Marketing Group, you can expect our work to continue on the account as long as you want us to continue working on the account. McPherson Marketing Group will continue working on the account until the end of the current billing cycle.


If, for some reason, there are other blog articles that were late or pending and were never sent out, you are still owed those blogs, and it will be McPherson Marketing Group's duty to make sure you receive everything that is owed for the months of active service.

Can we make changes to a blog article after it's posted? If yes, how?

After the McPherson Marketing Group content team publishes a blog on your website, that ends the involvement of the McPherson Marketing Group team for that specific post. If later on you would like to make any changes to that blog, that responsibility would fall on your end. Depending on the platform used for posting the blog (the McPherson Marketing Group builder, WordPress, etc.), this should not be too complicated and help documents can be provided to you upon request if necessary.

What if I'm not satisfied with the content produced by McPherson Marketing Group?

You can ask McPherson Marketing Group to rewrite a piece of content if you're not happy with it for that particular topic. There are some exceptions to this, though. For instance, we wouldn't be able to rewrite an article based on a topic that our content team chose because there was a lack of communication from the client's end. Rewrites are limited to content pieces with approved topics that just missed the mark completely. Again, only one rewrite per blog article will be permitted.

Can I provide topics to McPherson Marketing Group for the blog articles I want written?

Yes. Along with approving some of the blog topics that McPherson Marketing Group generates for you, it is no problem for us to write articles based on some topics you want generated.

Does McPherson Marketing Group handle blog posting to the site?

McPherson Marketing Group will handle posting as long as the site being posted to is using an easy-to-use CMS (content management system, like the McPherson Marketing Group website builder, WordPress, etc.). If the site is custom built and requires a knowledgeable developer to post to the site, that would fall outside of the scope of what our content team would be able to do. In that case, we provide you with the post and you would need to work with the developer to get the posts published on the site.

Why does McPherson Marketing Group need my website's backend credentials?

Website credentials are necessary for McPherson Marketing Group to post the approved blog articles to the website. Our content team will only carry out that task in the case of content marketing. If backend credentials are not provided to our team, we can write the content and send it to you for publishing.

What areas does McPherson Marketing Group provide listings in? Are directory listings available to businesses outside of the United States?

Listings provided by McPherson Marketing Group are currently available in three different regions: the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.

What happens when/if the directory listing service is cancelled?

Since McPherson Marketing Group pays a monthly subscription fee for many of the directories that we build, once the service is canceled, many of the directories will be taken down as payment to those directories would subside. Some of the directories will stay up, but it would be the responsibility of the client to claim the listings if they wanted to make any changes to them. We do not have or store any login credentials in any of the directories; this is all done via our API. This means we have no control over what the directories decide to do once this service is cancelled.

Are the directories provided by McPherson Marketing Group different per country?

Directories may differ depending on the location of the business. There may be some directories available to businesses in the United States that may not be available to businesses in the United Kingdom and Australia and vice versa.

Both are charged on the same day when purchasing the service. For Facebook ad campaigns, there is usually a 1-2 week gap from the day you purchase the campaign to the day it actually goes live. This is the time it takes for our team to build out the entire campaign. So, for your second month's recurring payment, we delay that, so you get the full 30 days of service for your first month's payment. So, as an example, if you purchased services on the 1st of the month, you would pay for both the setup fee and month one's service fee. Then, if we finish the campaign buildout on the 14th of the month (2 weeks later), your second-month maintenance payment would be billed on the 14th of the following month, 30 days apart from the initial day the campaign went live.

If there are issues on the monthly SEO report, will these issues be fixed by McPherson Marketing Group?

If you are seeing issues on the SEO report, these are things that the McPherson Marketing Group SEO team knows about and is addressing. These issues are usually taken care of during optimizations; however, given the time allotted and other SEO factors that the SEO team has to take into consideration, it may take some time for our team to find and fix all of those issues. If there are any issues that our team cannot resolve (content expansion, for example), then this will be brought up to you so you can try to resolve them on your end.

How long does it take to start ranking for keywords during the SEO campaign?

Every campaign is different, and some keywords have more search volume than others, which means they are more competitive and harder to rank for. We recommend that all McPherson Marketing Group clients expect it to take anywhere from 3–6 months to start seeing significant ranking improvements for competitive keywords. That way, we can strive to overdeliver in case the keywords start ranking earlier than that expected timeframe.

How do I know which SEO plan is good for my business?

At McPherson Marketing Group, our SEO campaigns are built on different tiers based on the website’s page size. For example, if a website has 1–10 pages, you should be on the SEO Pro plan. If the website has 11 to 20 pages, you should be on the SEO Plus plan. If the website has 21 to 30 pages, you should be on the SEO Premium plan. If the website has 31+ pages, you should be on the SEO Platinum plan. You can still sign up for a 30-page website on the SEO Basic plan, but it will just limit the performance and speed to rank for keywords. That’s why we recommend sticking to that tiered structure for the best results.

When does work begin by McPherson Marketing Group on the social media posts service?

Work on the social media posts can begin right away as long as the McPherson Marketing Group social media team has all the necessary information. We will first confirm that the onboarding document is filled out. Afterwards, we make sure that we have access to all the social media channels. If, for some reason, we are missing access to anything, we will reach out to you. If there are any delays in the work from the time the services are purchased, you will be owed those posts, and we will be able to supplement them for you as soon as the work proceeds.

Will I be able to see the social media posts for approval before they are posted by McPherson Marketing Group?

Yes. McPherson Marketing Group will send you social media posts for your approval before posting them. You may opt to have us post without approval if you would like.

What is provided for Social Postings? Does McPherson Marketing Group provide custom graphics?

McPherson Marketing Group provides the written content for all social media posts. If required, the McPherson Marketing Group team can provide licensed stock images that can be used for the posts. We recommend providing custom graphics and proprietary images to the social media team to be used for the postings. If you want custom graphics and videos posted, you can provide the social media team with the files, and we can utilize those assets for the posts. Unfortunately, McPherson Marketing Group cannot provide custom graphics or customize assets provided to us to be applied to the posts.

Can McPherson Marketing Group create the social media profiles for the client?

Unfortunately, McPherson Marketing Group does not create social media profiles for our clients unless it is discussed beforehand and charged separately. This would be your responsibility in the majority of cases.

What type of social media posts are included?

Our posting service is meant for maintenance-style social media posts. They can include images, GIFs, and industry-specific trending news. These are not custom graphics for the client’s services or products. They are also not branded with the client’s logos and colors. How long does it usually take the McPherson Marketing Group team to build out and launch TikTok Ad campaigns?

TikTok ad campaigns can take 5-7 business days to be completed. This timeframe is considered from the time all required assets (images, videos, etc.) are provided to our team (not from the time the order is placed with McPherson Marketing Group or from the time the onboarding documents are completed in the dashboard).

How does the onboarding process work after I complete my TikTok Ads purchase with McPherson Marketing Group?

Once you choose a TikTok Ads plan, you will automatically be added as a sub-account in our system. Then, regarding the onboarding process, we can automatically send the onboarding document to someone on your team or directly to the sub-account business owner for it to be filled out.

Do I need to submit payment to McPherson Marketing Group for both the TikTok Ad setup fee and month one's service together?

Both are charged on the same day when purchasing the service. For TikTok ad campaigns, there is usually a 1-week gap from the day you purchase the campaign to the day it actually goes live. This is the time it takes for our team to build out the entire campaign. So, for your second month's recurring payment, we delay that, so you get the full 30 days of service for your first month's payment. So, as an example, if you purchased services on the 1st of the month, you would pay for both the setup fee and month one's service fee. Then, if we finish the campaign buildout on the 14th of the month (2 weeks later), your second-month maintenance payment would be billed on the 14th of the following month, 30 days apart from the initial day the campaign went live.

How long does it take for revisions to be applied to my TikTok Ads campaign?

For an active TikTok ad campaign, each revision request can take up to one business day, depending on the request. This means that if a request is submitted within business hours (but not towards the end of the business day), then the request should be completed the following business day. If the request is received outside of business hours (even if it's on a business day), it may take up to the day after the following business day to complete.

How often are changes/optimizations performed by McPherson Marketing Group on active TikTok Ad campaigns?

Maintenance and optimizations are performed a minimum of once a week on all active TikTok ad campaigns. When we implement changes to a campaign, those changes will need time to run before we can judge their performance. Be aware that changes early on in a campaign will reset the learning phase and it's as if the ads started running from scratch when those changes are made. Please note that we need to give ads time to perform. Sometimes campaigns perform outright, but other times they can take a bit of time to hit a good stride. This is especially true for accounts that have never advertised before.

How do I provide McPherson Marketing Group with access to my TikTok ad account?

Following the purchase of the TikTok ad service, McPherson Marketing Group will provide all instructions for granting access. You will receive step-by-step instructions on how this is done.

Will I have access to the TikTok ad accounts while McPherson Marketing Group works on them?

Yes, you will have full access to the TikTok ad account. However, we recommend that nobody make any changes while our team is working on the account. Please submit any questions and/or change requests to our team as needed.

Will I receive reporting for the active TikTok ad campaign(s)?

As part of our TikTok ad fulfillment services, McPherson Marketing Group provides you with weekly reporting. Besides that, we have the dashboard available for you to access 24/7 (the dashboard's purpose is to replace many of the needs of actual reporting). If you need any other type of data, you can make a request via email or another agreed-upon communications platform. You can always log in to view your campaign metrics.

Can McPherson Marketing Group create new TikTok ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads?

The tier purchased determines the maximum number of TikTok ad campaigns, ad sets, and ads. Tier limitations are displayed via our pricing slide deck. If you need an additional campaign, ad set, or ad for the account that falls outside of the tier limitations, you will need to upgrade to the next available tier.

What happens when/if the TikTok ads service is cancelled?

When services for TikTok ads are cancelled with McPherson Marketing Group, you can expect our work to continue on the account as long as you want us to continue working on the account. McPherson Marketing Group will continue working on the account until the end of the current billing cycle.

Does the setup fee paid to McPherson Marketing Group for the TikTok Ad campaign include a funnel/landing page/website??

No, unfortunately, funnels are not part of the TikTok ad setup fee; however, McPherson Marketing Group does offer funnel-building services. It is not mandatory to use a funnel, landing page, or website with a TikTok ad campaign; however, in most cases, we do recommend utilizing one if possible.

Is there a minimum ad spend required by TikTok?

Yes, TikTok requires a minimum budget per ad group of $20 per day. This is a TikTok requirement; it is not a McPherson Marketing Group requirement. Before signing up for the service, be aware of the budget limitations.
